Mission Training Center
Education and skills training that moves adults from crisis to stability — and from stability to service.
Four focus areas
MTC isn't a typical college. We teach some classes, partner with others for more, and give you credit for growth you're doing outside the program — all held together by a simple accountability plan.
Character, Life Skills & Capacity Building

About Getting AheadHow the program works
Each 17-week term, you earn credit hours — about one hour a week of intentional growth. Many things you already do count: church, counseling, serving, and outside classes. The goal is at least one credit in each of the four focus areas.
- A short meeting at the start of the year to map what you're already doing
- One "grace term" a year when life gets hard — no paperwork needed
- Extra credits carry forward to the next term
- Year-end recognition, and celebration of big milestones
